Oil temp Sender Location:Revisit

Folks,

To those of us who have an early TQC. The oil temp sending plug that is used on 
later 4000Qs does not fit! The plug is different diameter as well as the valve 
body. 

I guess the only remedy is to replace the whole pump assembly. Otherwise you'll 
have to find another tap for oil temp. 

I recently replaced the oil cooled turbo with a water/oil cooled unit and also 
replaced the oil filter housing assembly at the same time. Noticed an extra plug 
in the housing and will investigate possiblity of using that plug for temp 
sender.
