My tachometer is not working on my 86 Coupe GT digital dash. Over the years, I've had some problems (light bulb sockets needed cleaning, intermittents, etc), but I was able to fix them and not spend over $1K(sounds high) to replace the circuit board which the dealer wanted. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could it be the sensor on the tachometer? Has anyone ever replaced the digital dash with an analog one (what's the cost)?
