It's actually 2.9 hours by the book. I polled all the Audi techs in the shop, some of whom have been working on Audis since before there WAS a 5000. All said that even with all the tricks they know (i.e. not disconnecting the heater hoses and vacuum hoses and only pulling the airbox up enough to access the fan) and to a man (and they are all men) they said they knew of no way anyone could do this job in substantially less than an hour. I'm guessing that STEADIRIC must be one of those "Audi Gods" y'all keep talking about...
