I believe some Euro tuner (probably MTM or Abt) has demonstrated A4t with close to 400bhp. I don't think it's drivable in the street, as you probably have to have the engine contantly on the rev. I think some European listers here can help you out, as there are Abt sold through Audi dealer as an Audi new car (not available in the States). I hear the touring car A4t has some esoteric drivetran material (hollow titanium or some such). But as far as I heard, none of the European tuners had to beef up the quattro.
