Ditto here on all accounts. I, being a bordering on insanity brand loyal Audi 
fanatic, also have to admit: a 740i indeed looks classier. Especially in white.

Now, under no circumstances will I by a Bimmer, mind you. Partially because 
Audi makes better cars, partially because I don't appreciate the Narcissic 
character of WMB brand.

But still, if I, a poor Audi *fanatic* like the 740i looks better, what can one 
expect from the well heeled crowd, which does not know/care about the superb 
egeneering behind every Audi, but does know that every Bimmer comes with tons 
of *Status* regalia for about the same price.

Pity.
