I removed the springs (metal fasteners) one at a time using two small screwdrivers. One to push the open end and the other to pull once I got it part way out. Two things, be careful of the seat material ( worried about gouging the leather) and they are springs so they will try to escape you. Once the springs are removed the headrest slides right out, I then replaced the springs so I wouldn't lose them. Arryn.
