One benefit you will get from replacing the bypass valve is improved Gas
Mileage. I just completed a 500 Mile round trip run to Owego NY/Stamford CT
and got 25.8 MPG running at and avg speed of 78 MPH. I was getting about 21.8
MPG with the leaking hose and defective bypass valve...Glad to hear you got
it fixed withoug getting clipped and nailed for witch-hunt labor
