I dunno - a 12 year old car finally losing its heater core sound pretty good
(my 82 coupe was weeping just enough to make defrosting a pain when I bought
it, replaced the ehater core when one of the hoses went)
It's not a difficult job - except that the AC evaporator is in the way... I
removed mine. The hoses attach to the core on the passenger side, in front of
the console. There is a cover with easy to break tabs holding it on and it
just slides out.
