Hello all, i just got back from driving home for thanksgiving, which included a trip up the long highway 101 from LA all the way to the bay area. As i reached a little north of San Luis Obispo, the heavens opened up and i was caught in a torrential downpour for the next few hundred miles. In fact, the rain did not let up until o got home, and even then it was getting worse. This is the first time that i have ever really driven a q in bad weather and i am very, very impressed. This car handles better in the rain than in the dry! I was able to travel the highway at above 80 mph through huge puddles without even a hint of losing any control. And then i locked the center diff....oh god...that was incredible. I was driving down this street called Oshaughessy in San Francisco, with the center locked. and the street was very, very wet. I had a blast drifting it around the turns. As i was getting down to the bottom of the hill, i lifted on the throttle in the middle of a turn to have some fun, and it was beautiful. The rear just drifted out gracefully and i did a little rallye turn down there....wow...God this hting is a blast. Why cant it rain like that all the time??? :o( Later all, i am sure that i didnt say anything that you all didnt know already...
