Once you remove this damn fiberglass it will be easier to remove next time. I always remove the headlamp to remove the filter, a lister recently suggested that it's not necessary if you have DOT lamps (mine are euros). Removing the headlamps may seem a PITA first time, but after having to do this several times I can remove it in 10 minutes now.
