Go to your local car parts store and find a good contoured (sculptured) rubber type splash guard. Buy one set of each style (usually A B C and D styles). Try each of them right on the store's lot to see how well do they conform to the wheel well. Keep in mind that most cars (my 200 for one) will take two different styles between fronts and rears. Return the not needed ones. Go home, jack up and_level_the car and remove_the _wheels, then proceed to installing the splash guards. Ask an assistant to eyeball their vertical alignment before screwing them in place. Most of the do-it-yourself installed splash guards that I see are pointed outwards. This happens when you jack up only one side at a time and don't have an assistant to help with alignment. IMO a car looks barefooted without them. Let alone getting the ugly tar splash marks all over the rocker panels and underside of the rear bumper. Or maybe it's just an old habit of mine. In the old Soviet Union a car with at least one missing splash guard couldn't pass an annual inspection. -- Igor Kessel '89 200TQ -- 18psi (TAP) '98 A4TQ -- FINALLY! Philadelphia, PA USA
