Frankly glen, I think you owe it to the list to find out what advantage comes with each piece put on the car. With what we pay you? So, go home from work today and switch that cam [giving you the easy job first, 'cause I'm nice].
Then, report your findings. Please dyno each result, because we
don't know, short of a state affidavit, how your butt is calibrated, if at all.
Hop to it man! Time is a wastin'
Hope you are learning by doing the job twice, my friend.

As I mentioned in another response to The List, I think it was the
stock EM that was limiting your high-end response. The K24
with 2-piece on the KUQEFH vastly out-performs the K26 on the
stock EM at all RPM. The K24 also performed far better Vs the
K26 on the stock EM at all RPM, though both the K24 and the K26
had no top-end with the stock EM and stock ur-q cam. Again, I wish I
knew *for sure* if it is the new cam or the 2-piece that really brought
the top-end alive...... (I am NOT going to swap anything back to
find out - this exercise is left to the student.... :)
Glen, I tried to put as many disclaimers in as possible:)
I think if you have a setup that is similar to the guy that was asking,
your post is more what he can expect than mine. There certainly
is nothing wrong with the k24 on the dual knock. Worked extremely
well. I just want a little more, and clearly the turbo was holding me

That's not a fair comparison! I would expect very different results with a
hybrid turbo combined with the other excellent mods that you made at
the same time. The stock K26 is ancient technology.....
With the K24 on the KUQEFH it pulls like krazy to redline and beyond.
I do plan to test a hybrid sometime soon, and based on what I hear here,
I bet it will outperform the K24. However, based on a direct swap of the
K26 to a K24 on ur-qs, the K24 is by far the better performer, even on
the track, as was the best single upgrade I had done on the ur-q up till
the KUQEFH complete engine upgrade. Others here that use their ur-qs
on the street as well as on the track can confirm this.
