Sorry, I was trying to say exactly that the shape of the cone was what
determined fuel/air at a certain no. of revs, it came out a bit ambiguous like.
I don't think that post to the capri list realised that the shape of the cone
in the air mass sensor could possibly be a different shape between cars. Which
is an important point, does anyone _know_ if indeed this is the case and the air
mass sensor is a different shape between car models? I always assumed the huge
development budget of car co's was ploughed into optimal airmass sensor design
but if the units are manufactured by Bosch then what really goes on??
Anyhow, I didn't realise that a sixth injector could be run off an I5, guess I
never thought that there would be one and my mind ignored the evidence in front
of it! And me pretending to be a science student, doh.
