It's not sufficient to say that Audi don't use a TORSEN centre
when racing.  Sure - they don't - but they don't use any other kind,
If I were to find a viscous coupled differential in a motorsport Audi, I
think they have a case to answer.
We should all check the history books closer. A quick glance at the
first few years of the ur-q rally cars shows an open front, no
center(same as locked center i.e. solid link between front and rear
axles) and a ZF 75% limited slip on the rear. If I run across any other
setups , I will pass it along.
