Great, I will check the sensor connection on the heat shield along with the fusebox stuff. As for the afterrun h2o pump...dead. Very dead. "Brown scaly gooey stuff" kind of dead. Sort of "dripping coolant juice all over the ABS unit" kind of dead. Yup, there is a earthing point below the ABS unit, you can see the cable run to the engine when peering down from above the coolant pump. As soon as I have as many facts as possible and have time to get to work on it all in one go then I will try and get to the earthing point. I will also check the switch on the upper coolant line.
