In a message dated 98-04-05 16:56:35 EDT, you write: << its limits. it just seems funny to me that we are discussing what is a theoretical to many, and a real flaw to some that only occurs in such extreme circumstances that few would be able to travel. Just an observation and question, im just asking, so dont flame me or anything..... >> Extreme circumstances is wheel lift, mike. There the Trg is reduced and the torsen acts as it should. Since my 'bite' is relative to before wheel lift, I might think about 'E/C that few would be able to travel'. If you accept tshift happens, and the other variables that affect it, cf becomes significant factor here. One that you can only avoid being significant by not driving your car when it's raining or snowing out. Heretical thoughts for quattro pride, I might propose. Mike let me reiterate my post to Dave E, this phenomenon is not "extreme" driving. This is playing in that 7/10ths arena where most claim audis sweet spot lies. Yes I drive q's hard, and so I've seen the bite more than most on both low and high cf. On 44 chassis cars and 90 chassis cars. I might also propose, that smooth drivers have more potential for bite than not so smooth ones. Why? Cuz if you are jerky with the wheel, you get wheel lift, and Torsen saves you. Get good, and the torsen isn't so kind. Interesting thought, IMO. Scott Justusson
