Yes, my 89 200TQ has the single piston ATE calipers on the front, they have a ~58 mm Diameter Piston and use the FMSI 394 pads. These front calipers were used in 1989 200's beginning with VIN# KN045020. These calipers work pretty well on the track in the 200TQ "if" fitted with carbon/kevlar pads although they squeak really bad on the street, scares the hell out of pedestrians, just like a Bus is stopping.... Don't know why Audi went away from the G60's to these single piston calipers, cost? they eventually went back to using the G60's on the S4/S6 a few years later after the UFO debacle. These FMSI 394 pads were used on the 1995 BMW M3 and I "believe" these pads are also used on the Audi A4. I assume the BMW M3 uses a different caliper setup with these pads. Does anyone have the specs on the M3 caliper? -- Scott Mo. 1989 200TQ 1988 5000TQ 1966 VW Beetle http://www.teleport.com/~scottmo
