I don't like the way you drive....

I started ignoring this torsen thing long ago, and many have asked
that it be taken private...and it was for awhile.  Some say it
happens, some say it doesn't---maybe we should add the words "to me"
at the end of the opinion, and then leave it?

I haven't been on Dave E's side of many threads [because I am jealous
about the cars he has:) ], but I just love to read the bitchin' that
hits when someone reports on driving this way or that.  Poor Sargent
pulls the parking brake gizmo and the place goes wild.  Dave takes his
hands off the wheel and he is a lunatic.  Mr. Phil gets fed up, leaves
the list, then pops back in to say he is leaving again over this
thread.  Yes, I am laughing my arse off here!!

This is my thought on driving:  You [and maybe the bank] paid for the
car you own.  So long as you are certain the only life you are going
to be taking is your own, drive it any old way you want.  Squeeze your
tail through the sunroof, steer with your flip-flop wearin' foot and
give her the gas with a broom handle, I couldn't care less. 

100's are the times I have done something out in country involving
something motorized that probably would appear insane to most.  No,
that was purely insane.  Jumped barbed-wire fences on a dirt bike;
chased down [didn't kill; eta] creatures in the river bottoms with
trucks of various makes and models, even ate a big-mack while doing
70-80 on a gravel road.  Each and every time, the only idiot that
would have died was me, along with maybe a pedestrian gopher or 3.

So, I ask that we lighten up and have more fun, not less!  Oh, and if
you leave the list?  You don't need to re-create the drama that was in
the air when Caesar took the blade.  Just leave, go do something fun,
then return and tell us so we can all share in the laughs.  

Just my opinion of course [oh, and all the stunts described were done
by a professional driver on a closed course, do not try to repeat the
stunts or you may suffer serious injury or death ]  :):):)
