By buying up other automakers aren't they buying production facilities that
are already in place? One of those hard calls in business is forcasting demand
and anticipating it with materials and a place to put those materials
together. Building new production facilities may be a good call...hard to say.
Buying up Rolls Royce, Cosworth (reportedly with intent to resell rather than
keep it sounds like...), and Lamborgini don't seem to offer much in the way of
assembly plants I suppose. But, it all helps in its own way maybe.

Audis! Kill two birds with one stone...one less competitor, and more
production ability! Hey...I like it! ;-)
