Does VW/Audi *really* need help from Cosworth in the engine department?  In
fact, do any manufacturers need help in the engine department.  It seems to
me that there aren't any secrets left in engine building and pretty much
any company can make a very good engine these days they just have to fight
with the accountants to do so.  The only two companies I can see that have
slight edges in engine technology are Honda and maybe BMW(Yamaha and some
of the other bike manufacturers also know a lot).
