K&N's run about $40.  They will provide very little extra power if any at all. 
 Do not do it for performance reasons.  I have one more for the longevity of 
the filter and the ability to refresh it not replace it.  I have heard stories 
that they do not filter as well as the stock filter does so the stock one 
might be better.  As far as replacing it check the archives.  It is not an 
easy task and will take at least 2 hours the 1st time you do it.

You need to figure out what your Alpine has in the way of pre-amp inputs.  If 
it has inputs just plug them into the changer.  If not than you will need an 
FM modulating connection.  
Finding a spot is difficult but 2 locations are decent.  Either use the 
glovebox or put it under the parcel shelf in the trunk.

Depends on what European headlights you want.  If you want the decent h-4's 
they will cost somewhere around $300.  They look just like the stockers but 
are a much better light.  You will need to upgrade the wiring with any 
upgrade.  The other option is the European h-4/h1 lights that are AWESOME.  
They produce a tremendous amount of light and have 2 separate bulbs that can 
run simultaneously.  These do not have the corner marker lights but, so what.  
The problem with these is cost.  They run around $550 to $650 for the set and 
wiring.  Worth every penny IMO.
