Quick and easy way to remove timing belt so you don't have to worry about checking the timing. Use some ordinary white-out to make marks on the belt and the gears (cam & crank), don't be stingy with the white out, then you can remove the timing belt, loosen the tensioner and slide it off. Then be very careful not to turn the cam or the crank while working on the water pump. Once done with the water pump, replace the timing belt at your marks. Works great, have used this trick myself. I even made extra marks on the block and head for the gears, just in case I happened to bump them. -- Todd Young WAM!NET Inc. tyoung@wamnet.com 6100 West 110th Street 612-886-5051 Bloomington, MN 55438-2664 800-585-1133 ext.5051 http://www.wamnet.com/
