N.B.
The State of NH intends to close the Kancamangus for repairs just after the
leaf season. (Their plan for earlier closure was thwarted by complaints
from local businesses.) Unfortunately, although I read this recently, I
don't remember what the date for closure is. If we plan on coinciding with
the foliage peak (whenever that is), the road should be open.
