100LS sighting

I spotted from very far away what appeared to be a 100LS on the Merritt
Parkway in Connecticut last Monday.  As I got closer, I thought nah,
it's an old Volvo, but as we passed it, it really was a red 100LS
automatic in very good condition.  It sure wasn't as nice looking as I
remembered them.  I thought they were one of the nicest looking sedans
on the road at the time, which sure doesn't speak well for early 70's
sedans in general.  It just seemed rather high off the ground on skinny
tires compared to today's cars.  Not too many of them around anymore.
