re: extra vacuum line (84 5kS) + sparkplugs
On my '84 5KS one of the lines indeed goes to a vacuum actuator, the other goes through the firewall and is connected to both the clutch and the brake pedals (seperately of course). I'm not sure what the technical name is but there are valves located near the pedals which open and release the vacuum pressure when you touch the clutch or brake pedal. HTH.
On another topic all this talk of after run fans has reminded me that mine does not seem to be working. Fan operates just as is should when engine is running. Any clues as to why it might not be working and tips on how to fix it?
