It's still going strong @ 150K miles (no turbo work or any engine work beyond the valves replaced when the timing belt broke @ 32K miles). In VERY cold climates I used 5W30 (this car ran Death Valley at 126F in the summer and Mt St. Anne at -50C in the winter). I don't see any reason not to use the 15W50 in the summer, but you can probably get by fine with 10W30 all year in Boston. I stuck with 10W30 in the other car because the manufacturer specifically stated the turbo had to have 10W30 (or 5W30 in winter), and it had a 50K powertrain warranty.
