Much as I find LC's missives annoying, childish and a waste of bandwidth, I
am wondering if this is being taken a bit far.  Perhaps LC is sitting at
home, laughing, knowing he got a rise out of better-educated auto
enthusiasts.  Maybe 90% of what he wrote was a feeble, immature attempt to
"save face."  I don't know.  Maybe 2% of what he has to say *does* have some
value.  *Maybe* he has some vague, screwy idea that a knowledgeable person
might be able to make work.

Or, in the worst case, he's just a putz with nothing to say and a chip on
his shoulder.  So why extend his 15 minutes of fame?
