My experience has been that I have ony seen VW (ATF) power steering in
every 4000 I have seen. The reservior is smaller and indicates right on
the lid what it shoul be filled with. The manual calls for Dextron ATF
fluid specifically and it is pinkish red when new. This was a releif to
me because Dextron is about the cheapest of any hydraulic fluids.
