I started adding about half a quart of this stuff to the engine of the 5KS a day before oil changes, and the lifter noise that plagued the car has subsided greatly. (still get a little if the car sits for more than a week) I can also vouch for this stuff when it comes to stuck piston rings too, it really frees them up. I don't know if it's safe for all cars though, I'll put just about anything in the 5KS, but I won't let any of this stuff near the V8Q.
