Gates, yes, at least they did anyway, still have one (3 years). The
aftermaket hoses from IMC (whole sale distribution house) and the like, also
have improved so hopefully you will have better luck...

Thanks Avi.  I was thinking of going to a plumbing supply house to
look for some sort of T-connector but I doubt they would have one with
such radically differnt sized opennings.  This is the third hose I have had
including the original and both #2 and #3 had this problem.  Gates
you say, huh?
