coolant cooler.  IMHO air to oil is much better, and is what Porsche did on
the 944 Turbo (951).  It was never pretty when somebody had a seal decide to
let go or leak and oil and coolant mixed......

I think my A4 1.8t has this.....it looks like I have 2 coolant lines that run
into a part above the oil filter that cools the oil.  I was thinking about
adding a oil to air cooler just before my turbo to help keep it cool anyway.
