Yes, I beleive there was a V8 wagon....but not in this country.  As many of
you may remember, Audi built the S6 Plus, which was a C4 100/A6 with the V8
shoehorned in the engine bay.  I believe they even offered this in wagon form.
So, there was a V8 wagon that Audi built.....but I'm sure what you saw was a
200TQW since Audi never imported the S6 Plus Avant, and I have never heard of
any grey market ones.
