I too would endorse Crossroads European in RTP with a caveat: As one other poster has noted, they do the job right the first time (in my case emergency surgery on my '92 100CSQW in the wake of Hurricane Fran) and are expensive, but do not specialize in Audis. That said, in the absence of any bad vibes about these folks, why not try to interest them in attracting more Audi business since there is not an authorized dealer in this fast-growing region, and even if there was, the level of competence in the back shop might be problematic. I see more and more Audis every time I'm in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, and not all of them are being driven by shadetree mechanics. These folks gotta take their cars somewhere. A thorough check on an S4 may indeed be beyond the experience or ability of Crossroads' mechanics, but then again it might be an opportunity to see how really good these guys are. In any event, good luck, Gary. Shaun Mullen West Grove, PA
