Just finished a thorough test drive after installing a new fuel filter, five new Bosch WR7DS spark plugs and five new fuel injectors. Total cost $440 CDN and three hours. OK, I was in no hurry and I cleaned up a bunch of ground connections, also cleaned and inspected rubber hoses galore. It feels like a new car!! She growls and accelerates like a turbo (finally), excellent throttle response, and humms along at 180Kph like she could do it all day long. Revs smoothly all the way up to 6300 with an indicated 1.4 Bar... awesome! What I thought was lust has turned into love!!! Yeeeeee haaaa! The previous plugs were NGK and the mechanic had installed them on top of sandy grunge... :-( cleaned up nicely though. The best part - immediate starting, no more 4 to 8 seconds of cranking just click and vrooom.... The @#*#&@!&#* voltmeter is still not working!
