I have ETKA installed for use with the CD, employing a very nice copy from
Bob D'Amato, and it's worked repeatedly for me (as long as I put the disk
into the drive, of course). I have two copies from Dave Hord (that
wouldn't install because I didn't know about resetting the monitor display
to the appropriate size) that now give me the "Stamm" notice, even with the
disk in the drive. I am presuming that my computer recognizes only the CD
from which the program was installed. I really don't feel like attempting
to install either of Dave's copies to see if they'll work like Bob's does.
But I'd be happy to send them on to listers who might want to experiment.
