FS: '92 V8 Quattro
1992 Audi V8 Quattro (automatic) for sale.
Excellent condition, pearl white paint with grey interior. Exterior is
almost perfect, save some slight tar marks behind the rear wheels and a
slightly damaged front air dam courtesy of the company parking lot curb (on
a hill). Also has a few rock chips on the front of the hood just below the
grill, but no rust or anything.
It's got 91K on it, odometer shows almost 63K, was reset just after 28K.
That number is accurate, as I purchased it from a friend of mine and
remember him taking it into the shop the day after it stopped working!
Features BRAND NEW BF Goodrich Touring/TA's (finally ate throught the
Bridgestones!) and brakes were very recently serviced all the way around.
Interior is immaculate. Leather is perfect, heated seats all work great,
only problem is that the temp control unit has a slight anomoly in which it
occasionally refuses to turn the A/C unit on unless you turn the temp up to
about 75 degrees and then bring it back down. Cell phone is still intact
and working, although I never use it.
Has dealer-installed Audi-labeled 10-disc changer as well.
Idles nice, runs great. Timing belt changed at 60K, always serviced by
competent Audi mechanics.
Car is for sale in western St. Louis, will consider driving it to you
somewhere in the midwest.
Why am I selling it? Impending family (only five months before our first
child!) forces me to be more practical, so I've got to let my dream car go
and find an econobox for a while.
I'm asking $12,500, but will entertain offers.
