	OK. So far I've got:

	Distributor cap -- mentioned as possible
	O2 sensor -- has caused this problem for others
	Fuel pump relay, bad solder joint -- has caused the problem for 
another lister

	O2 sensor and FPR have both been mentioned at least twice, so that's 
where I'll start. If there are any other "options", let me know. 
	I'll check on this just as soon as I finish with the clutch slave 
cylinder. Already changed the master cylinder, which didn't help the problem 
at all...
	Hey, in case you didn't know, it's a PITA to get the slave cylinder 
the last 3/8".
