OK, the one I put in Sunday busted today... well I haven't gone in there
yet, but... I do have another spare!

By freezes, do you mean water gets in there and ices it up?  Or that the
little gears I imagine to be in there jam up?

Because I think the 85 on cables are one long piece, and I haven't
treated the coupe to any new parts, especially ones that don't belong on
it, for a while.
