'93 90CS Strut Plates

Hello All,
Well, I just finished replacing both front CV boots (thanks for all the
input, BTW) and fount that much of the steering wheel shake that I was
experiencing was gone.  However, I did have a little drift and some balance
shaking so I decided to have it aligned and tires balanced.  The alignment
shop then told me that they couldn't align it due to bad strut plates
(mounts?).  Has anyone replaced these before and could tell me what's
involved?  As always, I greatly appreciate it.
