Just ordering parts for my engine:
Changing out the head bolts to studs and nuts. Factory bolt torque is
44 ft/lbs plus 1/2 turn. What torque should the studs be when installing
them in the engine block? Also when tighten nut vs bolt what value
should the nut be torque to now? I was thinking 20 % less factory bolt
torque plus 180 degree turn because of the less friction when turning
the nut vs bolt.
Anyone that has done this I would be interested in what torque value
they used when doing this change.
