95q - V6 Thermostats, tbelts and FI recall

Was in a shop today and saw an otherwise well kept 95 quattro in for a
thermostat change - jeez what a PITA.  It has 61K miles and the tbelt
was ready to die.  It was cracked, worn and otherwise dead but missing
the good sense to climb into the coffin - tension roller was scored and
glazed.
V6 owners, watch that mileage!

BTW,NHTSA fuel injecector recall extends to 1995  90s.
