Speaking of vacuum advance, I have a humble 1.8 4 cyl.
Of all the pictures I've seen of this engine, I see the familiar vacuum 
advance canister on the side of the distributor.  But my distrib doesn't seem 
to have any advance mechanism at all!  What's up?
Am I nuts?  (86 4000S)
