Differentiation between models

This page really needs to better identify which climate control units are involved...preferably a list of which models had it.

For example, I don't think the C3 platform (GM-supplied, Caddy-lack-like) unit has the same diagnostic procedure as the C4 platform's fancier unit. I also know for a fact that the C3 platform controller doesn't have anything to do with VAG1551. BrettDikeman 08:48, 5 December 2007 (PST)

• Since Kent did this I am assuming this is based on the V8 unit? It would be easy to add some screen images that help explain this if so. There are drawings in the factory V8 manuals, but as per copyright discussion, we can't use those. We could however, pose some hands in front of the controls to illustrate this process.--JohnDevecka 20:07, 6 December 2007 (PST)
