V8 -- Discussion of the Audi V8 Quattro (Type 4C)

The audifans "V8" list was created for discussion of the ultimate expression of Audi's "Type 44" model line, the V8 Quattro, sold around the world from 1989 through 1995. This was the first Audi model to receive the now common V8 engine, and the V8 was the first Audi to combine quattro with an automatic transmission. The list is set up so that only folks who have joined the list of subscribers can post directly, any other messages sent to the server are queued up with the thousands of other spam messages which accost it. If you wish to post from an address but do not want to get list posts delivered there, set the "No Mail" flag in the options. The list is unmoderated for members, but we all would appreciate it if you could keep posts to the list on topic. The listmeister has set the maximum size of posts at 25K, and attachments are not allowed. If possible please submit posts in text only mode. Thank you for your consideration. Subscribing to V8
Subscribe to V8 by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
