[200q20v] Thinking of upgrading exhaust???? Any suggestions

I can echo - pardon the pun - the sentiments of Steve Hackett: the Stebro
I had installed on my '91 200q20v doesn't fit perfectly - it hangs too low
for my aesthetic tastes (so I go really slow over speed bumps) and it is
definitely noisy - a far cry from the original system's "silence". If I
were to do it over again, I might acutally choose stock.

 << File: ATT00001.htm >> Taka,

We had this discussion last June regarding a group purchase for 200q20v
owners. Below is a copy of a reply from BN Pipes in Germany regarding
their cat-back system for our cars. Check out the web-site as well, if
their system is TUV approved in Germany, it should have a manageable volume
level. Current currency conversion is $838 U.S + shipping. We could
probably get a healthy discount with a group purchase. Has anyone tried
one of these systems?

Jeff Posto on the S-car list is organizing a Stromung group buy for the S
cars. Once
that is finished, he is talking to Stromung about doing a group buy for
the '91 200q20v.
I'd wait a couple weeks for some feedback from him. The Stromung is a
full cat-back
3" exhaust for about $900 (group buy price). I think I will go that
route, if I can afford it.

    Hi all
I'm thinking of upgrading the exhaust on my 91 200tq20v, I have a SJM
chip & K&N running about 19psi of boost. I would like to have something
that would give me more power and a throatier sound. Do any of you have any
experience with ANY applications i.e. custom, prefabbed. I would really
like some feed back. Thanks
