The gear on my 10v turbo dist is metal.  Not sure if it was OE or not.
Can't remember if I replaced it.

Sounds like you've got some headway on me here.  Didn't get a chance to talk
to Seattle Gear Works yesterday, but if you've got somebody that will
willingly manufacture one of these gears, I'd go there.  It's not worth
twisting somebodies arm to get it done.

Sounds like the dist. gp has gone through as well.  Too bad there, seems
like a real wasteful way to alleviate the plastic gear problem.

Bernie, instead of sending one of your distributors, why don't we see if we
can get Kevin to send over my old distributor?  Reliability might come into
play here but worth a shot.

Also, had somebody ask about a gear for his 10v turbo.  To my knowledge
that's not an issue, and I'm guessing the distributors on that car already
has a metal gear.  Any comments?
