Mime? MIME? Wee don need no stinkin MIME!

Anyone else tired of seeing the above? :-)

All you people who took the installation of the MIME filter to mean
"oh, I don't have to bother configuring my email client"...

...you have no more excuses!  I did a quick google search for
instructions on turning off MIME and HTML in Outlook/Outlook Express,
and hooo-boy are there a lot of them...Outlook seems to be
universally despised in this regard :-)

So, here's almost a half dozen different instructions to get you
started- the first link just happens to contain instructions for just
about every email client I've ever heard of(including a ton of non-MS
email clients!)...it might be a good starting place for most people.


If anything, your friends will thank you- your emails will be
significantly smaller and quicker to download.

Also, PLEASE edit your replies...some of you are really bad about
simply quoting entire messages, and the entire message before that,
and the entire message before that...Quote what's immediately
relevant/important - everyone's already seen the rest! ;-)
