Aside from swapping with another 200q20v, no. You -must- dump the
codes to see what the ECU thinks is wrong, otherwise, you're just
groping in the dark.
If neither mechanic even tried to pull the codes, they may have given
it their best but are completely unqualified to work on -any- Audi,
much less a 200q20v.
