Look to Section 19 "Radiator cooling fan function."
I suspect either defective thermoswitch on radiator (meaning only low speed
operation of fan when A/C is on or High speed/high current draw operation,
with no middle speed.  This would certainly cause your idle to drop
noticeably as you have reported...
