[s-cars] Radiator cooling fan won't run

I changed the temp switch on the radiator, and the MFTS during my belt
change, and I now have a perfect working fan system.
(On the s-cars the fan resistor pack is located just behind and over the
IC, and it's sealed, so I just checked it with a multimeter..)
I can even see what temperature the car has for more than 5 mins at a
time! :o)
The after-run also works, just had to get it hot enough.. ;o)
Recommended repair!

Btw, why does it smell like burnt rubber from a fresh RS2 conversion?
(Not the tyres..) there's no rubber material anywhere close to any hot
parts, so I'm a bit confused here!
How hot is the air from the turbo supposed to be? (had to press the
turbo to x-over tube a bit higher on the new turbo, so it might be a bit
more in contact with the cold side housing.. But I didn't think it would
get that hot there?
